The front of this tote is built from vertical strips of rescued denim, each one a slightly different shade of blue, arranged side by side across the full width of the bag. The tones shift gradually from a warm grey-blue on the left through softer, paler chambray in the centre and out to a deeper indigo on the right. Each strip carries its own subtle variation in texture and fade, the natural result of different jeans living different lives before being brought together here. The overall effect is calm and structured, almost like a woven panel. The bag closes with a zip at the top. The interior is lined with rescued cotton.

• Made from vertical strips of rescued denim jeans in a range of blue tones, hand-cut and stitched into a structured, one-of-a-kind tote. Each strip comes from a different pair of jeans.
• The back is a single panel of pale, well-washed denim carrying a fully functional original Levi's pocket, its arc stitching and red tab preserved exactly as they were on the original jeans.
• This bag closes with a zip at the top for easy, secure access.
• One interior cotton pocket (6 x 9 in) to keep the smaller things in order.
• Hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent and leave to air dry naturally. No wringing or rough handling.
