Fade Front

Product Description

The front of this tote is made entirely from the belt sections of rescued denim jeans, each strip cut vertically and arranged side by side, running from pale bleached-out blue on the left through to deep indigo on the right. The effect is calm and considered, a slow deepening of colour from one edge to the other. Each strip carries its own character: seam lines, wear marks, and fading patterns, all preserved as they were. The texture shifts slightly from strip to strip, some denser, some softer, all unmistakably denim. The bag closes with a zip at the top. The interior is lined with rescued cotton.

• The back mirrors the same vertical strip construction but runs in the opposite direction, dark to light, giving the bag a different mood depending on which way you face it.

• This bag can be washed with care. Hand wash in cool water using a mild detergent, reshape gently, and air dry. Treat it kindly and it will hold its character for years.
