The front of this tote is pieced from three horizontal panels of rescued denim, each carrying a lighter, cooler tone than you'd expect from classic blue jeans. The top panel is nearly white, bleached to a soft chalk, the middle settles into a muted grey-blue, and the base holds a quiet slate indigo. A fully functional original Levi's pocket sits at the centre of the front, its faded arc stitching still visible against the pale denim. The fabric has the open weave and slightly softened hand of denim that has been washed many times in its previous life. The interior is lined with rescued cotton, clean and calm against the hand.

• Rescued denim jeans in three graduating pale tones, hand-cut and assembled into a one-of-a-kind tote. The front carries a fully functional original Levi's pocket, preserved from the original garment.
• The back is the same three-panel construction in matching pale tones, clean and unadorned — the quieter side of the bag.
• One interior cotton pocket (6 x 9 in) to tuck away the smaller things.
• Denim is built to last, and this bag can be washed when needed. Hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, and leave it to air dry at its own pace. No wringing, no rough handling.
