THE STORY

Flag green cable knit on the outside, a crescent and star appliquéd on the front, and the outline of Pakistan stitched onto the back. This tote was made from a real wool jumper collected before it could be thrown away, its handles cut from rescued denim. Every detail on this bag was chosen for the 14th of August, and every material came from something that already existed.

THE DETAILS

Made from a rescued flag green cable-knit wool jumper, saved before it could be thrown away.

The front carries a crescent and star appliqué cut from rescued white wool trouser fabric.

The back features the map of Pakistan, also appliquéd in rescued white wool trouser fabric.

Handles are made from rescued denim.

Lined with 100% wool fabric rescued from trousers, with one interior pocket (6 × 9 in).

Care: spot clean gently and air dry flat.
